We are absolutely delighted to offer our all inclusive Hebridean riding holiday packages in partnership with Remuera, Holiday Home and Willow Cottage
Suitable for competent novices, intermediate and experienced riders only.
Enjoy rides along Traigh Mhor and Garry Beaches , as well as treks and trails onto the moorlands and sand dunes. Flat and jump riding lessons available. Plenty of opportunities to provide care for your horse or pony allocated to you during the week.

Typical Itinerary for the 6 night stay
Monday
Arrive Monday afternoon and head straight to the centre to meet your steed. A chance to groom and then go for a Prat Trail Ride before heading to your accommodation.
Tuesday
Morning: A lesson on the morning followed by a mini moorland ride. In the
afternoon we shall have our first trip to the beach!
Wednesday
Morning we will explore the sand dunes and beach on a longer trail ride . In the afternoon we will head down onto the beach for a full length beach ride.
Thursday
Morning: This is a wonderful opportunity to explore Lewis a bit more and visit the Callanish Standing Stones, Dun Carloway and the old Norse Mill at Shawbhost. Before a longer beach ride in the afternoon.
Friday
You will go on a Peat trail ride up onto the moorland then down onto Traigh Mhor before heading onto Garry Beach. Late afternoon you'll head to the Hebridean Spa for some pamper time. In the evening we shall take a stroll after dinner onto Tolsta Head.
Saturday
In the morning enjoy the breathtaking views of the Lord Leverhulme Trail , before a final gallop along the sands of Tràigh Mhòr in the afternoon. In the evening we will head down for a late evening beach ride.
Sunday
Morning after checking out, you can come and say goodbye to your wonderful horses and ponies before you go back to Stornoway in time for the afternoon sailing to Ullapool.

Being part of the sound of horses hooves thundering along sandy beaches, in a uniquely beautiful and tranquil place. amazing. A week we chilled so much, we jumped, played gymkhana games and even tried cross country. All with lots of fun and laughter. I travelled on my own to TMTP. From the 1st moment I met the team, the horses and other riders I felt at home. Every day rides were special, varied and designed to make sure we all experienced a great holiday. Taking in amazing scenery, galloping across beautiful beaches and laughing together made this a trip of a lifetime. New terrains to ride on and many achievements in our small group. An absolutely fantastic riding holiday that exceeded my every expectation. Tráigh Mhór Pony Trekking has a friendly, highly professional team that expertly matched each of us holidaying riders with the right horse and level of support, and really made us feel at ease from day one; the programme was varied across the week, we experienced everything from thrilling long beach gallops to stunning moorland rides, with gentle forays into new directions for some of us, e.g. jumping and crosscountry, in lessons; everyone at TMPT helped us progress in our confidence and riding ability without ever making us feel pushed. Having not ridden for a number of years and lacking in confidence, Leigh, Kirsty, Shannon and the team were fantastic. They paired us perfectly with our horses. They were always checking in with us to check we were ok. the riding holiday was a dream come true and I've never been more physically or mentally tired but in a good way! I've never galloped so fast, or ridden so far in my life. Leigh is definitely the hostess with the mostest and with the support of her family and team we had delicious meals and great company. I can't even pull out one thing to say that was the highlight of the week because everything was phenominal. Very sad to say goodbye to Gwen the wonder horse, and when we left we were definitely saying goodbye to friends, despite only having met everyone 6 days ago. In the morning enjoy a continental breakfast, we will stock the fridge with bacon eggs and the famous black pudding. We will provide soup, toasties or sandwiches for lunch and a hearty 2 course meal in the evening. Chillout time in the evening .
